Yesterday I got to photograph a charming high school senior named Christian who has aspirations of becoming an architect. Some of you probably know how pumped I was that he chose to be photographed at the Institute of Contemporary Art (a venue that holds a lot of meaning for me)! The modern lines of the museum’s architecture combined with the Boston Harbor and skyline provided the perfect, cool backdrop for a guy portrait session. During the session, Christian, his mom, and I discussed the rapidly changing Seaport District. We took a stroll through some of the construction grounds as well as an older section of Fort Point Channel, resulting in a series images that juxtapose Christian in front of “Old Boston” and “New Boston”.
